Our symbol
as sunny as it can be
there's a place in Yaroslavl where
such a sunny flower is growing?
It's a summer variant of our house logo -
the symbol of the Russian-French friendship!
It was designed by Vladimir Kurov
- the art editor of the publishing house
"Academy of development" in 2002.
The original plant has a royal blue in its veins.
We've sewed a mantle
for his majesty the Sun Flower
to match his solar name and mission on quite a solemn occasion - the opening of its personal site!
And as you can see it changed colours without turning pale. We've taken both a risk and a chance
to show our favourite flower in bloom, i.e.
to reveal its sunny side no one has ever seen before,
a proof that not a blossom of our bosom friend
has faded ever since!
But it doesn't mean
that we've forgotten our roots.

* November 2019 - our charming French-speaking ladies with their teacher - Marina Gainoutdinova are about to try a chocolate test - a new challenge of the year for the connoisseurs of the French language. The proof is at hand - a golden ticket! - the invention that has been borrowed from Roald Dahl and his famous chocolatier Willy Wonka. Thanks to Tim Burton for the idea!

* July 14th, 2019 - a four-star daydream! Friendship House "Yaroslavl-Poitiers" has come of age - we're 18! Let's go and paint the houses... Blue-white-red!
* November 24th, 2019 - juicy oranges at the hotel-restaurant "Ibis". In half an hour we'll unlock a secret of the French breakfast!
* December 25th, 2017 - a dream-team from the Pedagogical University is celebrating the end of a busy week - 8 X-mas performances "The unknown adventure of the three little pigs".
